National Demand Optimisation Group Phase IV Dashboards
See links below to the Demand Optimisation Phase IV dashboards that have been developed over the past year in conjunction with diagnostic network members and other key stakeholders. Data has been submitted directly to the National Demand Optimisation Group from NHS Board contacts and work regarding data discrepancies is ongoing. Dashboard data is presented on a monthly basis from January 2019 onwards and will continue to be updated on a regular basis as more data is received from NHS Boards. The red dotted line on all dashboards indicates the 2019 monthly average for that particular view, thereby allowing users to see ongoing monthly variance from that average. Users are able to select their NHS Board and view monthly test or discipline information where that data has been provided. Users can also select between viewing raw data values and value % using the Metric Chooser toggle on each dashboard.
These dashboards are not intended to encourage comparison between Boards, but rather are to be utilised as a pandemic diagnostic monitoring tool and where appropriate, inform NHS Board recovery and remobilisation plans.

Dashboard Links and Descriptions
Histopathology Dashboard
This dashboard contains monthly histopathology data for NHS Boards (totals vs their 2019 average), on a specific histopathology data set including; Breast Core Biopsy, Breast Wide Local Excision, Colorectal Endoscopy Biopsy, Gallbladder Resection, Neuro, Prostate Core Biopsy and Rectal Anterior Resection.
This dashboard lists data against several Histopathology measures of Blocks, Requests, Specimens, Workload and All Procedures.
Blood Sciences Dashboard 1
This dashboard contains monthly Blood Science data for NHS Boards (total workload vs their 2019 average), by discipline (Biochemistry, Haematology, Immunology, Microbiology and Virology).
This dashboard lists Request Rate from Primary Care, Non-Primary Care and Out-Patient Care sources
